For Business Members, Associate Members and Green Products & Services Members

Membership is valid for one year, and at time of annual renewal, a member must reapply with updated green practices profile upon application.

General:

• Attest to the truth of your membership application.
• Agree to allow the public to view your membership prerequisites profile.
• To the greatest extent possible, make purchases from firms that provide clean and green products and packaging, services and/or practices. If these are available locally, purchase locally first.
• Send communications to vendors announcing your membership, and ask that they consider the environment with their business policies and practices (packaging, etc.) (provided by the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce upon membership approval).
• Send communications to facilities management/building announcing membership and ask that they consider the environment with their facility management, including landscapers (provided by the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce upon membership approval).
• Inform your customers about your business’ environmental efforts and what you are doing to meet the program standards (provided by the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce upon membership approval).

For Example:

• Post the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce member certificate (provided by PGCC upon meeting membership prerequisites) in a visible location.
• Post steps that you are taking to be a Green Business.
• Offer tours that highlight your Green Business successes.
• Offer customers “green” services, products or amenities.
• Highlight your Green Business efforts on your website, and link it to the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce home page.
