LEADING THE GREEN EVOLUTION

Advancing a sustainable economy…

Great News: An Exciting Opportunity for Valley Businesses!

The Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce an upcoming program for an opportunity for businesses to explore and implement sustainability initiatives as part of a groundbreaking, comprehensive, and industry standard pilot program. The Center for Sustainable Solutions (CSS), a 501 (c)(3) organization that researches best business sustainability practices, is looking for volunteers—businesses like yours—to ‘test drive’ their revolutionary program. The timing of this project couldn’t be better, as the Beta Testing call for volunteers coincides with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

The program, currently called eco+Standards, can guide your business through the often confusing and daunting process of operating a sustainability-based business by incorporating leading green business practices. The eco+Standards can provide an in-depth format with tools and resources to create change on both a local and global level, yet be mindful of your company’s current capabilities and needs. The eco+Standards will not only assess your businesses’ current sustainability efforts, but also provide best practices options and strategies for taking your company to the next level of sustainability.

Finally, there will be a tool that eliminates the ambiguity on what it truly means to pursue the triple bottom line, people, planet and profit! More information coming soon!
